CELEBRATE YOUR EVERYDAY!

My friend and colleague Syd had never had professional photographs taken of her and her family so we set up a session last week in the studio.  Syd has an adorable little guy named Oliver who we were able to pull away from his chicken nuggets just long enough to get some great images.  Whenever I take photos of families with young children, I make sure to get some interaction going beyond the typical “Everyone sit there and look at me” posing.  Oliver responded well to tickli

I’m going to throw this out there and let everyone know that photographing these 2 year old twins was quite the challenge for me.  I shot more frames than I have in almost any portrait session in order to get the images I wanted.  Shaina and Perel are adorable twins with very different personalities.  Shaina was a total ham and loved the camera while Perel took a lot more tricks for me to get the great expressions from her that her parents know and love.  We did the sessi

A friend of mine that I have worked with in Breckenridge asked me to photograph some portraits of his daughter’s Katelyn and Abby.  We also took some of Flipper with the kids.  I suggested Washington Park as the location for the session and we agreed to meet there in the late afternoon.  The girls were a little reluctant and I had to work some smiles out of Abby but we got some great pictures and had a fun time.  Flipper strongly prefers black and white images and I processed
