Maggie, my dad and I drove up Mt. Evans today to check out the Fall foliage and see the aspen trees changing and were rewarded with some beautiful colors. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go all the way up to the summit because the road was already closed for the season but we were able to go up to Summit Lake, about 5 miles from the top. There were some amazing views along the way and the patches of shimmering aspens were incredible. As a creative type, I like to make art with my camera but it’s hard to compete with the natural beauty of this big sphere we live on. Here is one of my favorite images of the foliage. I will try to post some more later. 🙂
