Back in May, I was asked to photograph a concert whose proceeds were going to charity and I gladly accepted. The remix DJ Milkman was the headliner and DJ Will Thompson opened up for him. Photographing a concert presents a lot of challenges but as a wedding and event photographer, I have learned a bunch of ways to still get great shots. I took some of the photos with just the stage lighting that was throwing some awesome colors all over the performers. I then added a remote flash attached to a railing up in the balcony to get some different lighting effects. This was a really fun show to be at and these guys really got the party going with their mixing.
