Dave Newman Portrait and Lighting Workshop

On Sunday, I attended a workshop put on by the Professional Photographers of Colorado association (of which I am a member).   The workshop lasted 8 hours and covered a wide range of material on individual, child, and family portraiture.  It was run by Dave Newman who is a master photographer with an incredible amount of talent and experience.  Dave was a very entertaining character and full of jokes, both cheesy and novel.  I learned an immense amount and took away some great ideas and techniques to use in the future.  It was also great to speak with other professional photographers based in Colorado.  I can’t wait to apply some of the things I learned to my next portrait session!
